Most tall buildings have lightning rods that help direct strikes away from the building and safely into the ground. In much the same way, Sarah Palin is the lightning rod for conservatism. I have no idea if she will run, but the amusement never ends when the Left decides that she is not fit for office. This obsession is almost a "birther" equivalent for the Left, in that it has taken on a life of its own.
Unthinking in their hatred, they claim that she is not worthy, while they ignore Joe Biden. You know, if they had any consistency, they would be calling for Biden to step down at the end of Obama's first term. But this is not about consistency, nor morality or even facts. It's about winning, and Sarah imperils that goal and they know it.
There is no use in discussing it with them, because they are emotional and thus irrational. Their morality is fake, and their facts questionable. But it's still fun to watch the flop sweat coming off of them as they stamp their little feet and scream "I am too relevant!"
No you're not. But Sarah is.
